In the 2010 draft the Bills biggest need was at OT and at QB and since they didnt adress those positions last year until round 5 and 7, they are still the Bills biggest needs in the 2011 Draft. So the orginazation selects Locker who fits in Gailey offensive system and can be the face of the franchise for years to come.

Jake Locker would have been the #1 pick in the 2010 draft if he decided to come out. There's no way that changes in 2011. I can't see the Bills passing on a chance at a franchise QB.
Other possible pick: Marcell Dareus- could help anchor there new 3-4.

Andrew Luck and Robert Quinn are the safest picks in the draft. Locker has upside but don't forget that every other prospect has room to grow as well, but yes Locker has more potential than Luck and Quinn. Usually players that are labeled as potential never live up to it.

It is too early to tell which QB is gonna shoot up and be the top one taken but what is known is Bills will need a Franchise signal caller next year. I think Mallet will have a breakout year at Arkansas and be the top pick. He has perfect height for a QB strong arm and great accuracy. Strong arm will def help a team like the Bills where wind could be a factor at times.
2nd Rnd Kyle Rudolph TE Notre Dame

I feel that Buffalo made a huge mistake when they passed on Jimmy Clausen and went with C.J. Spiller instead. The Bills already have a good RB in Marshawn Lynch and even though Spiller has that explosive play capability he appears to be an injury prone player.Clausen may have an attitude problem, but also has all the skills to be a top pro QB for years to come. This means the Bills will probably be horrible again this year giving them a great opportunity to grab a top QB in the 2011 draft. And it will probably be Jake Locker or Andrew Luck. This depends on who has the better season.

The Bills need a franchise QB. Enter: Jake Locker. He is a bit raw, but there is no reason he can't be an elite QB within a few years. He won't have many weapons to throw to in the backfield in Buffalo, but he can be the face of the franchise there.

The Bills are absolutely awful. They need a franchise QB to build around and Jake Locker has all the tools to be successful.

Locker seems to be the consensus #1 pick for everyone right now. If that is true in 7 months, he probably won't be the guy. In 2006, we knew Reggie Bush would be first. In 2007, it was "The Brady Quinn Sweepstakes." In 2008, it was up in the air, but Glenn Dorsey seemed the most like a #1. In 2009, it was Stafford...okay that one came true. So, when Suh wasn't #1, 1 of 5 consensus guys were the top pick from October to April.
The Bills have little at QB, did not address the offensive line sufficiently, face lots of tough run defenses who will 8 in the box Spiller (no chance he wins OROY with those detriments), and the defense is in transition. Even with their schedule (which is not that tough outside the division), they probably only grab only 2-3 wins. Not to mention, they will have a new system.
Gaping hole at QB and Chan Gailey likes guys with some mobility. Perfect fit for the system.

I don't understand the C.J. Spiller pick. Franchise QB should have been a top priority for this team. Locker is the obvious choice.
