CB from
If the Lions fellow the same draft strategy as they did in 2010, then the pick will be Peterson. Peterson could become a shutdown CB in the NFL and Detroit still needs help at CB. Peterson could be the man-coverage CB the Lions need. They still need a LT, but none are worth taking here since Barksdale is gone.

Round:
1
Pick:
7
going to the
Browns

|
|
DE from
The Browns front 3 are grizzled trench vets. Alabama is gonna have some more success this year and people will be watching. One person in particular is Mike Holmgren. He realizes Dline is one of the facets of the game that is very important. If you look at the FA pickups and draft last year the Dline was one of the few areas where pieces were not added. Marcell could bump Robiere or Kenyon to the curb.
2nd round pick - Rodney Hudson, OG, Seminoles

Pretty obvious pick for the Cardinals, they still need to improve the O-line as well but their deph at QB is embarrassing.

They picked a DT in 2010, so what better way to complete your D-line, then to pickup a true pass rusher.
Other possible pick: Julio Jones

Pick:

going to the
Jaguars

|
|
CB from
With Rashean Mathis being a free agent and probably not coming back and being in the same division as the Colts and Texans this pick has to be a CB. Which one is unknown at this point I'm going with Prince.
2nd Rnd Pick WR Michael Floyd Notre Dame. Only legit WR is Sims Walker who is probably not a number 1 so they go with Floyd here.

Clayborn is solid in the run and getting to the QB. They may go after DeAndre McDaniel or a CB here.

WR from
After this last draft who knows what the Jags will do.They not only reached with the first round selection but decided to take the same position with they're next pick. They would be smart to take a QB or WR here. And since David Gerrard still has a few good years left in him and Ryan Mallett is not a sure thing they should take a WR.Gerrard doesn't really have a number one receiver to go to so Julio Jones or Michael Floyd would be a good pick. They both have the capability of demanding good coverage and making great catches.

David Garrard is an average NFL quarterback at best. Add Andrew Luck to Mike Sims-Walker and Maurice Jones-Drew, and you have a very explosive offense in Jacksonville. Luck has a ton of upside, a good arm, and is very accurate.

Patriots surprised me by not taking Odrick last year to replace Seymour. They can't afford to pass it up this year. I think this pick is TOO high for a RB.

Will they want to protect Stafford? I hope they'll do in 2011 through the draft or Free-Agency.

DE from
They were a troubled team last year, they did not make upgrades. Are they trying to move the team? Because they are making the right moves for that. They are low and look to be heading lower.
When they surrender 4 or 5 300 yard passing games in their division, maybe they will see the need for a pass rusher. It is probably time to give up on Harvey.
