Rankings: 2.0 avg per 29 votes.

1st and 2nd rounds complete. disregard the terrible rating. I fixed the problem, i hadn't realized i used the default 2nd rounds.

Round
1. Rams
team
Pick Breakdown...
Sam Bradford
QB from Oklahoma
first off, I'd like to say that if I were the Rams, I'd take Jimmy Clausen. Recently, Adam Schefter came out and just about guaranteed the Rams will draft Bradford. Bradford recently had a rediculous pro day completing an insane 62-of-63 passes with the lone incompletetion being a dropped pass. The only question now is whether the Rams will be able to sign him before the draft.

2. Lions
team
Pick Breakdown...
Ndamukong Suh
DT from Nebraska

I've always thought that Suh was just a tad bit better than McCoy, but I've heard of reports that say most NFL scouts and executives have McCoy slightly higher on their draft board due to his pass-rush ability and the fact that he has more upside than Suh. The Lions just traded for Corey Williams, perhaps hinting that they want Russel Okung though, and drafting a DT would mean a ton of money invested in the interior of their D-Line. Plus, Jeff Backus could move to guard, allowing Okung to be the one to go up against Jared Allen, Clay Matthews, and the newly signed Julius Peppers. But, the Lions go with the BPA philosophy, no matter what needs they have and Suh would definitely fit that philosophy. Plus, the Lions seem to be really high on LT Jeff Backus. Finally, the trio of Bradford-Suh-McCoy has been called one of the best trios of "sure-fire" (I say that lossely because in the NFL, there is no sure-fire prospect) prospects to come out in over a decade. With that in mind, how can the Lions afford to not take one of the 3? I believe Suh's overall value will win out on draft day.

3. Buccaneers
team
Pick Breakdown...
Gerald McCoy
DT from Oklahoma

The Bucs, would have loved to see Ndamukong Suh be available, but if he's not, McCoy is a great 2nd option. The only way the Bucs don't get a DT here is if the Rams and Lions both select Suh and McCoy. As long as one of them is available, they will be the pick.

4. Redskins
team
Pick Breakdown...
Russell Okung
OT from Oklahoma State

In light of the Redskins acquiring Donovan McNabb, Jimmy Clausen is no longer an option. Russell Okung seems destined to be a Redskin now.

5. Chiefs
team
Pick Breakdown...
Bryan Bulaga
OT from Iowa

The Chiefs really want Russell Okung, but the Okung probably won't make it out of the top 4. Recently Thomas Dimitroff said that while he was talking to Pioli, he said "[Eric Berry] is your guy", and Pioli said " you know how i fell about taking safeties that high"  Bryan Bulaga's stock has been on the rise and the Chiefs seem to really want an OT, even if that means taking a lower valued prospect. But watch out for NT Dan Williams. a huge position of need and its the exact kind of pick that Pioli loves to make.

6. Seahawks
team
Pick Breakdown...
Eric Berry
SS, FS from Tennessee

Wow. This Seahawks pick has changed from Jimmy Clausen to McCoy or Suh to Bryan Bulaga and now to Eric Berry.  I think this pick will end up being either Eric Berry or Trent Williams in the end. The Seahawks have a huge need at tackle, but Trent Williams is barely top 10 value. Eric Berry is the 3rd best defensive player in the draft behind only Suh and McCoy and any other year he may be the best overall. The Seahawks have a huge need at safety, especially after releasing Deion Grant. Eric Berry is a stud playmaker and very good against the run. He's versatile and can even cover the slot WR. Berry has to be the pick.

7. Browns
team
Pick Breakdown...
Eric Berry
SS, FS from Tennessee
Hallelujah for the Browns. Eric Berry has fallen to them. Jason Pierre-Paul makes sense, but I have a hard time seeing Mike Holmgren taking the huge risk in Pierre-Paul. As we saw last year, Mangini seemed intent on trading down just to trade down while stockpiling mediocre players and lesser valued picks, but even he would have a hard time trading down from Eric Berry. The Browns have shown a ton of interest in Joe Haden, so perhaps the Browns will trade down a bit and take Haden. The Eagles scheduled a private workout with Eric Berry, and the Browns could use a QB. I wouldn't be surprised if the Browns find a way to trade down with the Eagles in a trade involving Donovan McNabb.

8. Raiders
team
Pick Breakdown...
Bruce Campbell
OT from Maryland
I think the Raiders really need to take an OT like Bruce Campbell, who would help the entire Raiders offense, from run blocking to mainly pass protection. Bruce Campbell has already begun lighting up the combine. Mario Henderson is a liablity in pass protection. He needs to be replaced.Bruce Campbell ran in the mid 4.8 range, which is outstanding for an offensive lineman. Personally, I wouldn't touch Campbell before the 25th pick, but Mike Mayock said that Campbell is the best looking offensive tackle he's ever seen. And to be honest, thats all that really matters to Al Davis. Any notion that the Raiders want Pierre-Paul has been squashed by the trade for their trade for DE Kamerion Wimbley

9. Bills
team
Pick Breakdown...
Trent Williams
OT from Oklahoma

Trent Williams' stock has been quickly rising after a great combine. This may be a tad high for me, but the Bills GM has made it clear that OT is a priority. Dan Williams also makes sense here.

10. Jaguars
team
Pick Breakdown...
Derrick Morgan
DE from Georgia Tech

Jason Pierre-Paul and Derrick Morgan seem like simple choices here, but it may to be to early for the Jaguars to admit their mistakes in Derrick Harvey and Quinten Groves. Aaron Kampman's signing doesn't rule out a DE here, especially with Kampman's age. in 08, the Jags took a DE with their 1st and 2nd round picks. in 09 they took an OT with both their 1st and 2nd round picks. The Jaguars won't have a problem taking a pick with great value even if they already addressed the need in free agency.

11. Broncos
team
Pick Breakdown...
Dan Williams
DT from Tennessee

Dez Bryant might come into play here if Brandon Marshall is traded but, in the end, I think it will come down to Dan Williams and Rolando McClain. The reason the Broncos defense fell apart was because they didn't have a stud NT. Dan Williams dominated the senior bowl, and can be that beast-like presence in the interior of their defensive line. One draft rule I've always feelt has been ignored is that you always draft players that you can't get in free agency. There may not be a ton of linebackers in free agency but there are a decent bit. But nose tackles? next to none. Just look, Aubrayo Franklin, Ryan Pickett, and Vince Wilfork. All franchised. and Casey Hampton was just re-signed to a pretty rich deal, given his age. The key to a 3-4 defense is its nose tackle, not one of its inside linebackers. Unfortunately, Dan Williams isn't available in this mock draft, and the Broncos recently released Andra Davis, so given this situation, I think the Broncos would draft Rolando McClain. If the Broncos don't take him, the Giants might, and the Steelers definitely will.

12. Dolphins
team
Pick Breakdown...
Jason Pierre-Paul
DE from South Florida

Dez Bryant has had visits with GM Jeff Ireland, Tony Sparano, and Bill Parcells. now, does that mean the Dolphins are seriously considering him? maybe. But i can't see Parcells actually pulling the trigger on Bryant. JPP makes too much sense given Parcells' draft history and JPP has DeMarcus Ware potential. key word being potential. The Dolphins need a pass-rusher to replace Joey Porter.

13. 49ers
team
Pick Breakdown...
Joe Haden
CB from Florida
The 49ers must upgrade their offenive line if they want to make the playoffs, and go deep in the playoffs, but none of great value are here at this point, and Joe Haden is easily the BPA at a position of big need.

14. Seahawks
team
Pick Breakdown...
Dez Bryant
WR from Oklahoma State

Who would have thought that the Seahawks would have 2 chances to draft the top 2 safeties in the draft with Eric Berry at 6 and Earl Thomas at 14. Earl Thomas is solid value at a huge position of need and would add a ballhawk to the Seahawks secondary. But still, I can't see the Seahawks passing on the top offensive playmaker in the draft. Dez Bryant is easily top 10 talent, but his off-the-field issues may push him out of the top 10. I can't see the Seahawks passing on Dez Bryant considering how the Seahawks made a serious push to get Brandon Marshall

15. Giants
team
Pick Breakdown...
Rolando McClain
ILB from Alabama

Rumor has it that the Giants love McClain and C.J. Spiller, but I can't see the Giants using a top 20 pick on a RB when they have Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw on their roster. McClain may not want to play in a 4-3, and he may really be a better fit in the 3-4, but if the Giants like him a lot then they'll take him anyway to fill the vacancy left by Antonio Pierce. Sean Weatherspoon makes sense too.

16. Titans
team
Pick Breakdown...
Kyle Wilson
CB from Boise State

The Titans have 3 prospects which I think if any were to be avialable they would take them. Unfortunately, Derrick Morgan, JPP, and Joe Haden aren't available. Kyle Wilson's stock has been on the rise, and some scouts even have him above Joe Haden. Kyle Wilson is a ballhawk, with a solid 40 time (low 4.4s).  If the Titans don't take him, I'd bet the Steelers at 18 would, and the Eagles at 24 definitely would. Besides, the Titans have nobody across from Cortland Finnegan. Ryan Mouton, Nick Harper, Jason McCourty, and Rod Hood are all more nicklebacks than starters. If there is one thing with the Titans, they love to surprise when it comes to draft day. Chris Johnson at 24 when most considered him a 2nd rounder, and Kenny Britt last year when they hadn't taken a receiver since Kevin Dyson in 1999. DT really doesn't make much sense here because the Titans have drafted a DT in the 2nd round for the last 2 years, and both of them are solid players. Plus they have Tony Brown and Kevin Vickerson.

17. 49ers
team
Pick Breakdown...
C.J. Spiller
RB from Clemson

Mike Singletary is said to really like Taylor Mays, and if a coach really wants a player, there's a good chance that they are willing to reach to take them (Brad Childress and Percy Harvin.....even though Childress ended up looking like a genius). If Taylor Mays works out, he could be a big playmaker for the 49ers secondary. C.J Spiller could go here as well depending on how highly they have him rated on their board and how much they truley like Taylor Mays and Anthony Davis. Spiller is seen as the best player available, and probably won't last this long on the actual draft day. The 49ers would have a tough time passing him up.

18. Steelers
team
Pick Breakdown...
Earl Thomas
SS, FS from Texas
The Steelers will either go offensive line or Secondary. Earl Thomas is great value here and would give the Steelers another ballhawk in the secondary. Iupati, Pouncey, and Anthony Davis also make sense here.

19. Falcons
team
Pick Breakdown...
Sean Weatherspoon
OLB from Missouri

The Falcons really needed a CB, but they just broke the bank to get Dunta Robinson. Their next biggest needs are at OLB and DE. I think they would draft either Brandon Graham or Sean Weatherspoon in this scenario. Weatherspoon is the better player, but Graham offers more positional value. Brandon Graham absolutely blew up the Senior Bowl. John Abraham may be wearing down, and they don’t really have much on the other side. Thomas Dimitroff loves drafting by position value, and DE is right after QB and OT. The comparisons to LaMarr Woodley are unmistakable. On the other hand, Weatherspoon is a great locker room character and can be the face of their defense. Weatherspoon had an outstanding combine and Pro day and the Falcons drafted Peria Jerry last year, which probably makes it slightly less likely the Falcons take a DE. For now, I'm gonna go with Weatherspoon.

20. Texans
team
Pick Breakdown...
Ryan Mathews
RB from Fresno State

Personally, I wouldn't touch Ryan Matthews till the  bottom of the 2nd round but the Texans have made it clear that they want a bigger type back to pound the rock. If Kyle Wilson and Earl Thomas are both of the board, I think they'll address need over value.

21. Bengals
team
Pick Breakdown...
Taylor Mays
FS from USC
The Bengals offense has been anemic ever since Chris Henry's injury(before his tragic death). They need a WR to help OchoCinco and give a boost to this offense. Knowing the Bengals, they could give Carlos Dunlap a look, but DE isn't a huge need with Antwan Odom returning, Jonathan Fanane, and last year's 3rd round pick Michael Johnson. Jermaine Gresham is alos a possibility, but the Bengals don't typically utilize the TE position and they seem to be targeting cheaper TEs in free agency to fill the need. Golden Tate and Arrelious Benn are options, but the Bengals have signed Matt Jones and Antonio Bryant. Its thought that the Bengals are high on Taylor Mays, who would fill a position of need. And Marvin Lewis loves drafting from USC. (Carson Palmer, Keith Rivers, Rey Maualuga)

22. Patriots
team
Pick Breakdown...
Jared Odrick
DT from Penn State
This is a little bit of a reach, but the Patriots were really hurting last year without Richard Seymour. Odrick is the best 3-4 DE in the draft and would really go a long way in helping the Patriots porous defense. Jermaine Gresham makes sense too, but the Patriots are about to sign Alge Crumpler, perhaps taking Gresham out of the picture.

23. Packers
team
Pick Breakdown...
Charles Brown
OT from USC
Charles Brown is a perfect pick for the Packers. The packers pass protection really improved towards the end of last year, but they simply do not have much depth on the offensive line.

24. Eagles
team
Pick Breakdown...
Brandon Graham
DE from Michigan
Andy Reid loves lineman, and Dunlap's character concerns won't scare him away ( signing Michael Vick tells you everything you need to know). Victor Abiamiri needs to be replaced. The Eagles were players in the race for Aaron Kampman, which shows they are ready to spend to get a DE.

25. Ravens
team
Pick Breakdown...
Jermaine Gresham
TE from Oklahoma

The Ravens just got Anquan Boldin, which was a great pick-up but they could still use more pass-catchers. Todd Heap is not the player he once was, and Jermaine Gresham is great value at this point.

26. Cardinals
team
Pick Breakdown...
Anthony Davis
OT from Rutgers

Signing Joey Porter allows the Cardinals to address their offensive line, and Anthony Davis only falls here due to character and work ethic concerns. I also think Tim Tebow is a darkhorse pick here, especially for a team that is trying to put more emphasis on a power running game.

27. Cowboys
team
Pick Breakdown...
Mike Iupati
OG from Idaho

Personally, I think Iupati could be the most overrated prospect in the 1st round, but it makes sense. He's a big mauling run-blocker which is exactly the type of lineman the Cowboys love. The Dallas Morning News even reported that the entire Cowboy's front office perked up when Mike Iupati's name was announced at the senior bowl weigh-ins.

28. Chargers
team
Pick Breakdown...
Terrence Cody
DT from Alabama

If Ryan Matthews makes it past the Texans I think he'll be the pick. If not, I think the Chargers will wait for Toby Gerhart in the 3rd. There is a premium for nose tackles in the NFL and Mt. Cody has shown work ethic by "trimming" down to 330 Lbs. Cody can be the replacement for Jamal Williams.

29. Jets
team
Pick Breakdown...
Sergio Kindle
OLB from Texas
If Jared Odrick isn't available, I think the Jets could look at Damian Williams, the best route-runner in the draft. Sanchez had a great rookie year, but he needs some more weapons, and who better than is former receiver at USC? Another option would be Sergio Kindle, who would be what Vernon Gholston was supposed to be. For what its worth, many draft analysts have Sergio Kindle as a top 20 prospect (I don't).

30. Vikings
team
Pick Breakdown...
Maurkice Pouncey
OT from Florida

Tough call between Pouncey and Brian Price... Pouncey could go as high as 18 to the Steelers while Price was reportedly sluggish at his pro day. Both would be fine selections, but I'm going to go with Pouncey for a team thats looking to regain its dominance in the running game.

31. Colts
team
Pick Breakdown...
Brian Price
DT from UCLA

Although offense is always the perenial strong-suit of the Colts, Polian still drafts on offense the majority of the time. However, one thing that he always ignores is the Colts perenial need at DT. Price is solid value at the Colt's biggest position of need. Roger Saffold makes sense too, although its a bit of a reach.

32. Saints
team
Pick Breakdown...
Everson Griffen
DE from USC
Best player available at a position of need. the Saints could use another pass-rusher across from Will Smith.

I just can't see the Chiefs drafting another defensive lineman.
Tennesseefan10s
11/21/09
No, i don't either. There are only 2 DTs are good value, and no DE's. plus, they already draft Tyson jackson, and Glenn Dorsey. Are either Suh or McCoy able to play the 3-4 nose tackle? i doubt it. maybe Suh
walterfootball
11/23/09
Nice update. And I don't think either plays nose tackle.

Your second round isn't right - the Pats have the Jags and the Titans second rounders next year.
BritPat
11/24/09
And the Raiders have the Pats third rounder next year.
MarkSp18
11/24/09
Travis Lewis would be a nice pick for the Vikings and he could replace Leber after next year. But then to have them taking another LB in round 2 is not going to happen especially when they are set at the LB position. Not a realistic selection.
Baseballwiz727
11/24/09
So explain to me, how do the Browns go from a top 2nd round pick to a low 2nd rounder and there 2nd 3rd rounder is gone? Stay updated on who has what pick

the Falcons 2nd round pick belongs to the Chiefs

lol i think you need to look back over this you have multiple prospects being taken twice multiple teams choosing twice that only have 1 first round pick and your analysis dosen't match up with some of the teams or prospects

Awful draft for Patriots no way they don't draft defense in the first 2 rounds you have them taking offensive players. I think the Patriots will actually trade up with Jaxvill in first round so Jvill can take Tebow at 22 and Patriots end up with Jason Pierre Paul....Shannahan like to draft oline before a qback back to the run game...less passing less turnovers
michaelgaulin
01/30/10
I like it for the Pats. We need offense in the draft and defense in free agency. There was a lack of speed on defense last year (draft helps with this) and missing experience on defense (FA accomplishes this).
Tennesseefan10s
01/30/10
yea, i've been in the process of updating it. thats why he was in there twice. also i'm working on taking out the players who returned to school. And if i got a dime for ever time somebody told me something that "will happen" in the draft.....nobody knows. i just go based off my ratings and what i think the teams will do, not what you the fan would do.
michaelgaulin
01/30/10
I think that the Pats would take Spiller over Gresham - they don't throw to the tight end that much.

Of all the players you could have given the 9ers at 13 McClain is the least likely.

Love the mock draft being a Lions fan. That would make their defense move up atleast 4-5 spots compared to last year in terms of productivity. Being a Lions fan from Nashville i gotta give you your props and say your alright for a Titans fan lol.
gatorbeer
02/05/10
McClain to the 9ers??? Spikes was a 2 down player who couldn't drop into coverage. McClain is no better bigger issues then ILB.
Tennesseefan10s
02/06/10
no they don't throw to the TE that much, but Belicheck never drafts RBs high either. And if McClain was no better than Takeo Spikes, why would he be a lock for the 1st round?
Tennesseefan10s
02/06/10
M2karateman, tahnks i guess? its a mock draft not the blueprints. The draft is so unpredictable that you can't just say that someone is wrong. and FWbrodie, you're right, but he is that much better than Charles brown. Yea, if they wanted an OT, they'd probably just trade down and take Charles Brown.
Tennesseefan10s
02/06/10
And thanks Detlions, at least someone likes my Mock draft. haha

Ronaldo....most people have the Rams taking Suh to be honest. and I didn't say that I personally would take Suh. and the only way you won't see Eric Berry go in the 1st round is if you don't watch the draft. Gatorbeer, why would the 49ers not consider him? and yes secondary is a bigger need, but WHO IS WORTH THAT PICK? i can't just pull out imaginary great defensive backs and give them to the 4
Tennesseefan10s
02/15/10
.....give them to the 49ers. and if the take Anthony Davis, who would they take with thier 2nd pick?
ocho85cinco
02/15/10
dude you have McCoy going #2 and 3 and Spiller at 13 and 17

02/18/10
I realize that Anthony Davis is a BIG man, but he still can't get drafted back to back
CJinVic
02/26/10
The Seahawks need help at Saftey but i can't see them taking Berry with #6 the another saftey at #14 in Thomas, look for them taking Everson Griffen in the #14 spot he's a USC boy and with Patrick Kearney talking retirement it makes sense.
bucwild22
02/26/10
Hardy is more highly rated than Wooten, and the Bucs need a WR in the worst way they will select one with one of their first 3 picks. otherwise good job.
Tennesseefan10s
02/27/10
oh, thanks for letting me know...haha i hadn't realized i gave Seattle a safety twice. but Everson Griffen is considered a late first or even early 2nd rounder... Bucwild, Wooten is higher on most peoples boards. i have Wooten as a 2nd rounder and Hardy as a late 2nd early 3rd.
Play4Blood
02/27/10
Mayock said Campbell looks good...just not on tape. He also has very concerning durability issues. Just say no to Bruce Campbell.
wmmalzone
02/27/10
Graham on there twice
RyanKnowsBest
02/28/10
Brandon Graham to the Falcons. Yuck. He was a marginal 2nd round pick and then he has one good game in the senior bowl and he is now some sort of a star? Give me a break. he has average athleticism in comarison to the other DE's out there. You also have Pierre-Paul at 12 and 16.
Tennesseefan10s
02/28/10
yea, i would say no to Bruce Campbell...but the Raiders won't. And Brandon Graham showed the ability. plus before this year he was considered a high 1st round pick. its a bit of a reach, but he's definitely a 1st rounder
Eagles91
03/06/10
Not Bad at all. I just don't like Demayius Thomas going to the chargers in the first round. RB has to be the first thing addressed for the chargers. They can afford to wait on a WR.
Tennesseefan10s
03/06/10
Yea, I didn't like it either. but I have a problem seeing the the Chargers reach that much to take Ryan Matthews when they can take someone like Anthony Davis. And Jahvid Best is a very similar back to Darren Sproles.

You have got to be kinding me most of your draft is totally wrong man. I cant even say all the errors that you have made. The biggest one Okung going to the lions!!! Are you kidding me man there no way in hell that the lions will pass up on the best player in the draft Suh!

gggnix...stop being retarded. The Okung pick is the smart one. Tell me, if you spent a CONSIDERABLE amount of money on probably the best WR in football, a QB, and a RB, why wouldn't you spend an equal amount to protect them. Smith is already starting to show some wear and tear. They spent a not so insignificant money on defense in free agency too. You think they should spend even MORE on it? It

No. The Lions need to keep building up an increasingly promising defense. Give Stafford the time to launch the ball to Calvin and their pretty much is nothing you can do except run cover-3 all game; to which the Lions woul djust respond by running smith behind Okung. Wow!!! Did't that just make so much sense?!

Your the one being retarded. The lions need to protect Stafford so that he can pass it to Calvin Johnson and with Okung he can help big time. They would not be smart to draft Suh at number 2 pick. Okung wont fall to the Redskins.

Then why did you change it. lol Tennessee fan is right Okung will go to the Lions everybody is saying it we all know that they will draft Okung and that the Rams will draft Bradford after releasing Bulger.

Oh my god. I'm so tired of people like yall who assume that every team actually makes the smartest draft pick. I know they SHOULD pick Okung, its just that they won't. They recently traded for G Rob Sims, something I highly doubt they would do if they planned on drafting Okung.

remember last year? the Chiefs drafted Tyson Jackson over Aaron Curry and the Lions passed on Michael Oher for a TE at #20. Teams don't always make the smartest picks. thats why the NFL draft is so tough to predict.
